I've been attempting for a long time now to create a custom skin for the airship but every attempt fails . I've done it in three different file types one was a dds which the same format as the default ones I've also done them with and without locators. anyone have advice on what I'm doing wrong? _________________ Someday I shall rule the world!!!

Ill assume you know the same process of changing signs? within the editor?
the same applies to when changing the skin to the blimp, simply click the paint bucket towards bottom right of screen pop up menu appears saying
TMU, white, and default
a select URL option is availbable, so the way you want it i assume needs tobe uploaded onto imageshack or photobucket.
Im aware mmmbat has made a custom blimp, so if the image needs to be of any certain size im sure we can find out. _________________

I think mmmbat put his into photoshop or paint.net to paint it, then saved it in his skins file, but i`m not sure, With the add on for photoshop (nvidia), it`ll convert too and from .dds for u, paint.net does it as standard
If you paste an image on, it wraps both side from top to bottom, and makes a mess, but i`ve only tried at 160x80 pixels _________________ Never underestimate the power of stupidity. |

I saw mmmbat's blimp skin on his Photobucket site and thought 'hmm', so copied his strategy. Basically, copy the white blimp skin and do whatever to it, save it as a bitmap or similar, stick it on Photobucket and copy the DIRECT LINK. Then go into the editor and click on the paint icon and select the blimp you want to reskin. Go 'insert URL' and press Ctrl + V. Press ok a few times and it's job done. _________________
