i have come to realise that we are really more like an extended family than community even, as we contact each other every day, share in each others ups and downs, share many different aspects from our lives, build each other up mercilessly wind each other up, and generally be there for each other as well as entertain ourselves. well done mad and thanks to all you guys for the MANY hours of entertainment and sense of belonging. by the way there are words in this thread i do not understand like podium and winning but i live in hope

trouble is, i have a hunch the tables will be switched when BF heroes comes around, as i'm terrible at FPS ><
I'd love to see bboy on it though.

I used to play BF2... which was, and still is a great game. So im really looking forward to killing everyone from on here, and also meeting up with a few friends from BF2 who i havent seen for too long.  |

But i have to admit that beating Belial is best of all, since i am on comms with him and the friendly banter is good fun.
Look forward to playing you guys on BF Heroes.
I have clocked a few hours in FPS games, so i might not suck so bad at that as i do TM.

Hmm people I enjoy racing against
Raikonen (so much banter between us on coms) Midden Rat, always a good race, DTM (I can beat now and again if I'm sober). Ste Unit and BBoy, (just because I like following people).
The homers, both real good guys, Highflyer, Sosteve and Dodgy Geezer. Minum is a challenge as is Damadman.
In general a real good bunch of guys, normally very close except for Ste Bot and Bboy

| hi guys ,gals i must agree the community of mad laps has made me stick around even though therees times when ive felt like giving up months of no improvement etc .i would like to point out that theres the factor that the better rig youve got the better racer you become it would be interesting to see wat happerns if everyone is given the same rig same and the same conection would the elite still be the elite,but as this is the real world we will never find out its part of who we are to better ourself in wat ever way we can if the hardware helps and we can get in then theres allways people that will have an advantage,but hey when it comes down to it ,it all about having fun and at mad laps we have fun ,god knows we put up with enough **** in our day to day lives, so race on have fun enjoy,, A BIG UP TO THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE FOR US ,ITS YOURE WORK THAT MAKES IT POSSIBLE ,, THANKS<<<<<<<<<p.s i manily like to play with myself its fun>>>>>>>>>>>>> |

Well its no real secret since I got 4 times as much ram, a 64bit processor and a much much better graphics card that I started doing better.
In saying that you still need to be reasonably good at the game to get more out of the rig the only real advantages I get from the better computer is I don't get massive problems like I used to have with my old comp when there are loads of folk around, the track is quite large and my graphics card dies causing me to ricochet off all the walls.

I enjoy playing with whole bunch of players that show almost everyday at MadLapsPRO server. But mostly, it's nice to have steve, stevieM, aerox, grdl, middenrat in front of me - big challenge. Often have hard fight with Belial, Raikkonen, c0nt3xt, fenderfunk, OoFfa, titi15, Peter Starbuck
Thanks for great server. Tracks are exactly in my taste ^^ |
