Seriously how weird is that.
1st, so far everytime someone switched a team, the points he got for his last team stayed there. it would just be too much work to check for every race if there would be any changes.
2nd, you miss a teammate, you check who's doing good in races4,5,6 and afterwards you say he joined you beforehand.. Steve was in Bentley during those racing so the points from those races go to Bentley..
And 3rd, 'it's the least you can do' is **** (nice offensive language edit Razz

) no offence, the least I can do is give slowth a point for doing 124/125 cp's but rules are rules and they exist for a reason =\

actually, steve was on the team beforehand, a few peeps may remember me telling mad to hold the race a bit so steve could join (as he was on CPE)
the reason you didn't know, was because you weren't there.

ive got a mental image of steves nuts....

Id prefer him to join TOG, tho his nuts need to sag abit, so i was thinking who would do the honors of strecthing them a tad? at end of season bboy can come along and kick him in the nuts to put them back to the rightful place

I know I'm not part of the GP, but I just wanted to say.....

....I don't think Steve's points in that weekend should be added to CPE as he wasn't 'officially' announced as a team member then. A few people knew, yeh, but it wasn't official.

Let me say it from a non-CPE mouth.

I join the GP on saturday night to find 3 races, Steve gets whatever amount of points for BENTLEY (as he hasn't officially been announced as CPE yet), and Swat/dude get whatever amount of points for CPE. Afterwards, Swat officially announces that Steve is part of CPE, and has been since before the GP, and that the points he scored from that GP should go towards CPE.
I personally see that as unfair from an opponents perspective, especially as its Steve (if it was someone less dominating it might not be such a big problem), which is why I understand where Moldo is coming from.

Members are not part of a team untill officially announced on here, as this is the GP topic. Points are only counted for that team member after they are announced as being in the team.

Sorry for that, I know it has nothing to do with me but i thought i would make a retarded attempt at an opinion..

Well to put it in F1 rules the points you score for the manufacturer stay with the manufacturer.

He scored for Bentley, they stay with Bentley
Anything he scores from now on goes with his new team.

Unless the debate is purely about when he joined the new team, then surely it is down to when it was announced by Mid on the thread for line ups.

ok, i guess i buggered everything up by not posting on the forum that steve was in CPE before the GP, as that would make it "official".
Since i didn't, and there is no remaining proof, then i've well and truly been trumped. I just don't appreciate being called a liar and stuff...

I was asked to, and joined CPE before the GP started... but didnt change my name or post here etc...

I dont mind, up to you where the points go, but thats what happened and it cant be changed. Just seems a little unfair to me that Swat is getting attacked and no one is trusting him, just because he's asking for my points to go towards his teams total, when i was racing for his team.

A fair compromise would be for Steves points to count for HotSwats team and for Hotswat to donate the points he earned to DaDude for buggering up his GP *tongue in cheek*
