Well I've voted for stadium, but seeing as I don't have United, I haven't really got much choice in the matter Wink

I had to vote Island. I like speed and there's no doubt in my mind island has the most of that. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Yes ... snow has to be a wind up ...

Stadium is still the best, and it's better on TMU than it is on TMN. The dirt is cool (cooler than snow, weirdly).

The music on Desert hypnotises me ... in a good way.

Island and coast are joint second, but I still can't warm to the rest. I would like to warm to Snow, but only in the hope that it would melt.

That's enough crap comments on the temperature of snow.

I'd love Island better if it was easier to "no-slide" but finally, i think i can make a kind of table of my favourites environments :

1 - Stadium - Coast
2 - Island - Bay

3 - Rally

Yeah sounds like you've been snorting a little too much of it there chief Laughing

I like stadium I always have it's what brought me to TMU.

I hate desert, because Mk1 ford escorts dont handle anything like that and I should know.

I hate rally because well it's pish

I don't mind coast too much but that's because most of my wins come on coast tracks Laughing (who said it wasn't about the winning)

I like island but not as much as stadium, I do need to get a better skin for the SpankyTech Bullet.

Snow, least said the better Shocked

Ok, here are my thoughts...

Coast. Definitely Coast. I mean, Island's fast and the sideways action's great but on many tracks too much use is made of the mid-air blocks made out of slabs and not enough of the normal road sections. Coast looks great and when you get that weird yet strangely attractive McMerc SLR/Carrera GT mash-up to obey you and lap smoothly I find it very rewarding.

Stadium's good; not keen on the understeer when on tarmac mind. That's probably why I prefer to race on dirt tracks in Stadium. I don't think I have the right technique to win on tarmac. Th trouble with Stadium having two very different surfaces though is that it makes Rally seem even more absurd than driving through a castle already did. The Renault 5 Turbo handles exactly the same on and off the black stuff; why when Stadium makes such a contrast between its surfaces?

Snow isn't a good or bad environment. It doesn't seem to look right somehow to me. All of the Original environments are a bit abstract, but there's something in Snow that goes further and I don't know what. The Suzuki SJ's too responsive as well.

Desert and Bay's cars are just too bouncy and uncontrollable for the speeds that they do. Enough said.
