yes it is possible (if I may reply, Dant?), we had that setting in force last week, so I'm a bit confused given Dantski's observation. I wasn't surprised at any of the results assuming the setting was working. _________________

well, how about rounds? and peeps can be split into teams "Red" and "Blue" by each person pressing /team. what i mean is, when i join smurfs of war server, or UKR server, im automatically allocated to the "UKRockers" team.
this way, points are divided by the placing of peeps on each at the end of a round.
im pretty sure that this setting is done by aseco and is pretty easy.
but i hope u guys know where im getting at cos this is really hard to explain -_- _________________

As SWAT said explaining is hard without giving a good example so here goes.
What I have played before and think is best for this event, is for every finishing racer in each round to contribute towards that team. First week, only the people finishing 1st and 2nd mattered. This week only 1st did.
This is how I think it should work
(R) = red team
(B) = blue team
1. Bboy(B) 6pts
2. SWAT(R) 5pts
3. Steve(B) 4pts
4. Midden(R) 3pts
5. Voices(R) 2pts
6. Moldo(R) 1pts
rest DNF
Blue scores 10 pts
Red scores 11 pts
Red wins the round and scores 1 point
Points for each driver work something like this
(n+1)-p where n is the number of finishers and p is the position they finish.
I assume we have been using team rounds so far and I know this is at least possible to do under aseco (I know you aren't using that).
It seems more suitable to use this system so everyone can feel like they're contributing. In my example, without Moldo scraping home 6th, it would've been a tie. Finishing even with a horrible lap matters _________________ It's not the winning, its the taking apart |

Not that I'm ever available on Tuesday, but I totally agree with Dant, that's how it works in matches and it's the most fair / fairest whatever _________________

the control of team mode has nothing to do with aseco.... though I know that aseco has it's own team sections built in, thats not what we used on zrounds the other week...... I'll give it some more thought when I get teh chance. |

Last night's Team race started so well for Reds, I think we started out with the first two in the bag for toffee, then I went and ruined it all by calling for one of ours to turn teams and Swat only went and put his hand up ... Blues won out 6-3
The results were decided with the new rules and it all added to the tension - which way would the computer give the Round? It was even awarding Ties, n1 DaMadman (who got this week's event in the air with very little runway to spare).
Thanks to the dozen or so racers who made it, now has anybody got news of the Raid, as I had to shoot off to w*rk as ususal. _________________

Yeah was good fun last night, the highlight for me was watching "Daisy" graze on the grass in the middle of a crossroads while a load of frenchies are racing past.
All on vid of course, will post later _________________

in a rare flash of foresight it came to me that tomorrow is the Team race, so I went looking for a decent server to raid after the Blues stomp on my grave again
anyways, =RS= Racing Spirit of France have got a nice set-up with short, fast tracks over five laps, and =RS=Jer along with =RS=Reno both said we'd be very welcome to go along in comedy skins and shake the records up a bit
Check them out, hope you like it _________________

Jer is 'in' on the idea, he said he'd be there. Hopefully being in a clan he'll have some m8s, too. _________________
