Hi all , Anyone know where to get the cheapest 8800 ultras from please?
Seen some really up and down prices and just want some sort of middle ground.

dunno about Ultra but this GTX from Overclockers own brand is on sale at Ã‚Â£244 inc vat and will overclock to a great benchmark. Customer reviews all positive.

Cheers Midden, but want an ultra if poss.. was looking at xfx 8800 ultra xxx which is factory o/ced . Im not to confident with doing my own ocing.
Had a evga 8800 gtx ko but thats a looonnnggg story...lol.

Hi, Got one!! I got "XFX 8800 Ultra xxx" but wont work on my asus p5b motherboard. Crying or Very sad

. Dont know why , ill have to buy new motherboard i guess.

I don't know the characteristics of your mobo but i had to flash my BIOS the last time i upgraded. That allowed my old mobo to make use of a dual core processor, so it might work for you.
Worth a shot if you're facing replacement or bust Wink

if you get a chance speak to gord as he is very knowledgeable on graphics cards suppliers etc i bought a 8800gt on his reco its brill hes not on forums but is often on the track at night

Oh is that the scotch gord? My bios is flashed to most recent already. I had evga 8800 gtx ko b4 this one and had same problem. Thanks.
