Mad Laps Awards

It's Boxing Day and already the regulars are out on the server testing their 2008 cars. I know a lot of you watch Top Gear, so many of you will have seen the TG Awards, a humourous look at the series that has just passed. This got me thinking; why don't we have a Mad Laps award ceremony, with awards such as:

Best newcomer (tracks)
Best newcomer (racing)
Best track built this year
Lifetime achievement award

and so on...

The ceremony could be on Vent and at the same time as the final standings of Formula Mad are released.

great idea but as only ive played the game since august i dont know what tracks are new and old

as for best newcomer racer i can suggest some recent new
comers but dont know them all

perhaps myself but dont know about best lol

chewie,potman again dont know how long,tj ,fred but dont see him on forum

thats a point is this a forum thing or a server thing

good suggestion thou

I think we keep it to registered peeps, plenty of fast drivers that have joined recently and are submitting tracks.

And i did something like this before christmas and we had 3 awards, each had a different thread with a poll, and the nominees are added to the poll then everyone can have one vote and not for themselves, if they are a nominee.

Well...for newcomer it kind of depends on who is a newcomer...anyone who has come for the first time this year on the servers? Because Moldo would make a good chance himself too Wink

no joke Midds, he has Bin Hiding here in the past. Well couple hundred clicks to my south anyway. All these rascals use countries of instability for that nonsense.
