Nice post Dantski. I agree about the tracks, because they are absolutely in keeping with Mad Laps. Even though I have only finished 3 races so far and not won I know it's my own fault. I'd find some of the flat GP tracks a little boring over such a distance; people of my ability rely on a few good people flying off the track to keep it interesting. Mad tracks keep you on your toes, and punish concentration lapses; which brings me to the next subject ...

I don't care if someone is speccing me. I can't see why anyone would spec me, but when I see the little blue square it makes me happy (yes, I know it might not actually be me they are watching). And as for chat, if you're stupid enough to read it while you're driving, you deserve to crash!

BTW: Who was that in 2:26, think it's a Tyrell, or a Penske Confused .. ^^

Good weekends racing

No real problems for me with this weeks tracks ... only times i crashed was going too fast out of corners, not even dreadful amounts of lag for 20 seconds couldnt take me out of the 2nd race. (similar tracks next time please just a bit nastier with no loops/wallrides Smile )

though crashing near the end may be bad

however being overtaken by bboy for 1st on the last corner and losing by 0.03 seconds is even more painful.... and no i havent forgiven you yet bboy.

about the standings ... they seem to show my traditional gp races quite well. racing all by myself.

Well done team looks like we are well on our way to 2nd

also i thought moldo got one of the fastest laps in the GP or are we doing it on the practice times (then will we go back to rounds?)

And nice video dutchy

anything else .... nope dont think so

I know how you feel mate Rolling Eyes

And for the extra points, I thought it was about the fastest lap times during the practice, which were both held by Dant.. not fastest lap times during race, cause last week we were driving in rounds mode and it's kinda hard to see who got the fastest lap times there.

Ok guys,

Here is the second vid from the weekend. I realise that there are quite a lot of places where it could be better. But bear with me its all work in progress. Plans are that next weeks will have champ standings and also predicted results and so on. More screenshots hopefully and better quality video feed. Also if anyone else takes some film let me know and I can include it.

nice videos and work all, the tables etc take some time doing Smile

dutchy you might get a better result from the ingame replays... just a thought, though it might take longer. Racarmark always uses fraps.... I have no experience with any of them.

Great video again.. very fitting music to that, even though I dunno it Razz

I love these quotes.. "I'm in a hole", "I'm lonely in here", "oops", "enter was the wrong button" Laughing

As for the replays, maybe even more people could make replays for Dutchy so he could get some shots of other players as well, just an idea

Oh, and watching this video made me feel very happy and very lucky to have finished.. Can't wait for next week Very Happy

Precisely what I was hoping Moldo, if any one wants to of course then they can save their replay and i'll take it of their hands and have a play around and see what I can drum up. Thanks for all the advise and compliments by the way guys, very good of you. Still toying with the idea of a pre-race champ table and so on.

heh tred I'm not far ahead of you with only one race finish so far.........

And I set the challenges, create half the tracks and run the server! oh the shame. I must buck my game up.

You should be able to edit your own replays to watch someone else... Just change the "target" on the camera in the replay editor. Of course, this gets quite fiddly on the longer races if theres custom replay cameras, but if it's just the standard camera you shouldn't have too much of a problem Smile
