Usually studying for some sort of an exam...
When I do get onto a computer, I'm normally playing Heroes of Newerth with some friends now.

Did manage to hop onto Trackmania for a couple nights two or three weeks back and managed to find Fred still hanging around, which was a pleasant surprise.

Hey congratulations Grandpa CJ, good to hear from ya. Sooooo....... free racing game? With online multiplayer? Dedicated server controls? So some old friends could possibly trade some paint from time to time? Hmm... that gives me an idea Smile Where the heck were ya when I was trying to host a New Years party!!!

Not been doing any online gaming lately, do miss the TM sessions especially all the sweeping gp6 carnage.

Thanks for the heads up and all the links CJ. While the gfx are obviously dated, the physics and game-play is fun fer sure. Sounds great as well. I have a server up and was able to connect to it from work. It loaded right up, but when I click drive it crashes... apparently issues with windows 7. Its ok tho, I just wanted to see if I could join outside the lan.

IP is 24.210.142.134:32766

If there's any interest in some occasional fun I'd be happy to host. Maybe some weekend races for fun Smile

familiar faces.... strange term for a group of people who've never met in anything other than a chat window Smile

the server had issues last week..... so it's been moved to CHICAGO.

If I get any trouble I'll have to send Galahad along to give em hell Smile yeh, I know it's still 400 miles away but hey thats a few THOUSAND less than me.

Strange term indeed but totally appropriate imo. People that I've never met, probably will never meet but will always refer to them as friends. Here's one of my favorite memories. Back when a few ladies were posting on Servalot forums... one was Ladystar, a UT player. CJ posted some picture of a pig and I knew she would be hopping on the forums, see that then be looking to kick his ass! I saw that picture and started laughing so hard I couldn't even tell my wife why I was laughing. Then... we were on vent and playing UT, she hopped on and I hear CJ say... "Oh dear" And I started lmao again Smile Ah the good old days. I'll have that Nascar server running over the weekend if anybody has interest.

Not been on to much of any racing... or anything else for that matter. I've just been too busy. But it's good to see everybody still pops into the forums.

Young jedi knight here.... Racing pro. UT noob. SL sucks.

I don't game much since real life is busy. A quick race or two is fun Smile

Mad - I'm closest to Chicago. They will feel my wrath if server goes down. Or maybe they will laugh at me? The free poker tables will have pretty crazy play. 1) Don't limp pre-flop. If you have a big pair (lol) raise or re-raise. I won with 9 5 offsuit in the big blind with a full house since the button with A 10 suited hearts didn't raise pre-flop. Always bet if you know your ahead to maximize your chips. 2) patience... fold often. 3) take notes on players. are they bluffing? do they always have the best hand. 4) play tight in early position.. more aggressive in late position especially if everybody folds to you. 5) don't call all-in unless you are 95% sure you'll win - or know the player is an idiot.

Ordered Diablo 3 which comes out May 15th, so will be playing that a bunch.

I'm on US server mainly Swat (since the people who introduced me to it were american), I do have a low level EUW account though.
