Here it is guys, the long-awaited Championship of Mad
First: Pepper get in touch with me concerning Team liveries, we need a top brushman to turn us out in racing colours.
Then, Moldo: until the high-tech scoreboard is ready we need you to refine your current Table to represent the Championship format and collate the stats weekly.
that's enough from me, over to you guys... _________________

Steve this is no Championship for privateers, you'll go into the team Lady Luck assigns you (in reply to the post i moved from signups).
Similarly Tred, Lotus will be in the hat along with your name but the rest is pure chance. _________________

Ive just noticed this but team colours ..... i dont have TMU or S or O , mainly because i own the 2nd worst comp here only just beating buttercup
so i could do with being put in a team with closely matched colours to a TMN nations car (ideally GBR ish) |

Ok, Ok. But can i paint my kart to the colours of my assigned team?
It doesnt give me an advantage, and im not at all used to the normal car anymore, it drives strange compared to the kart.
Edit: Voice, you can have custom cars in your game, but they wont download to us because you havent authenticated so we wont see the skin. |

it's a pity not all are registered to display colours Voices, the effect will be diminished, but in that case your National colours will be acceptable, we'd rather have you unliveried than not at all.
Steve, this is a Formula Championship so we'll all have to get with the program and retoon that means teaming up with whoever you are drawn. _________________

supplemental to Prizes, a team member must compete in 75% of races to qualify for Team honours and the guest slot ? maybe 62 1/2%?
Unregistered players who fill slots for absentees Points in the Driver's category can go towards the Wildcard Cup _________________

One good question...what night will this be on each week? And second, I want Renault turbo and UOP shadow cars in that hat...
That reminds me for no reason at all...the TMU Carpark has a JPS Lotus skin. it's one less to do... _________________

How about Team tags for use in the races?
well i'd be up for it with my Teamie but let's keep it optional, eh? _________________

Haha, yeah, rereading your post I see where you said that - kinda missed it originally
Ah well, heres where I end up getting a team I don't like again (I drew McLaren for the RFR series).
Oh, and can I suggest you come up with a set of rules or guidelines for assigning people to teams etc, or for late joiners to the series, as it'll save you alot of bother and confusion when something happens Of course, you have stated that people can fill in for others, but I imagine that would need some guidelines as well... |

Ha ha , Da Cheese, I started following F1 cheering on the " Yellow Teapot " cars, around 1978 ish, everyone was picking on them, with the new fangled 1.5 litre, Turbo cars. I had a great deal of affection for them around that time ( Jean Pierre Jabouille, Rene Arnoux and of course Alain Prost ) , but eventually my heart was branded with the Red cars, due to my passion for small Fiat's...................yeah , I know go figure !!!!!! _________________

All too complicated for my little brain.
I continue with the score tables as I did until now, that's what I understand out of all of this
About the skins - I also only have TMN, so you guys will only see me driving in orange - even if I pick the GBR skin, you just see my orange skin, don't know why |

1) In real life, drivers don't get to say who their team mate is, so just have done!
2) Might it be an idea to have two draws - one for registered and one for unregistered drivers? The registered ones can have the new swanky skins, the Unreg ones can select a nation that loosely resembles a real life team, e.g.:
Austria = old McLaren
Bosnia or Ukraine = Renault
Czech Rep = Stewart (quite plausible as Sir Jackie is dyslexic)
Malaysia = Jordan
New Zealand = Lotus
China = Ferrari
3) I think we need a little discipline regarding car shapes; i.e. all the same if we're going to go to all this trouble... |

for people without a registered copy I believe your skin only shows your registered country (GBR etc) regardless of settings.... unless you create a new profile... which actually for GP's isnt a bad idea. that way you simply select your racing profile for the day.
sounds like utter chaos to me |
