Formula Mad Team and Driver's Championship Winter 07 Signups

Ladies and Gentlemen your participation is requested in the inaugural running of the Formula Mad Team and Driver's Championship for the season Winter 07 Very Happy

Formula Mad races will be held weekly in the following format, more or less:
An eight-week season of two races per week in the usual GP style of one flat, one freaky.
Competitors will be organised into two-man teams representing GrandPrix classic marques such as Brabham, Lotus, Stewart-Ford and Minardi (who writes this ?), racing in liveried standard TMN racecars, with Points awarded along Moto-GP merits. Competitors who wish to be assigned a Team slot are requested to sign up below for the season. Team lineups will be selected by DMM's missus The Wookie from out of a hat in an open Teamspeak broadcast.
Slots of absent Teammembers in any week of the Championship can be filled by non-registered palyers on a first-come, first served basis, assigned at random. Prizes are 3-month duration guest slots on Mad servers allowing you to connect and play when they are nominally Full, awarded to each member of the Team winners and the Driver's Champion. A roll of honour will also be permanently added to your Forum ident.

Stock cars only, team colour's to be decided, generally plain Red, Blue White, Black etc, for teams of two racers, sounds like fun Midden, as we had discussed earlier Smile

Teams..............well, here are a few, Larousse, Lola, March, Brabham, Arrow's, Prost, BRM, Eagle, Ensign, Tyrell, Ligier, Matra, Lotus, Porsche, Surtee's, Wolf, Bentley, Jaguar, Shadow, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Cooper, Maserati, Coventry ( who could forget the Coventry Climax !!!! ) et al........the list could be endless

Sounds like fun. Um, ok, I'll give it a go. I know my terrible driving means I only deserve a Minardi seat but can I either go for Renault (RS01 livery) or the UOP shadow? Yes, I now I'm too young to have seen them racing but I love those colour schemes. I'll have to get to work in Paint.NET...
