Boo
Finally got back from University for summer yesterday, and already I'm bored and missing Bristol, so was just wondering if anyone still plays? I might be persuaded to get back into playing over summer if there is some still some good, close racing like it used to be.
Going back in October for the 2nd year so got plenty of time to remember how I used to crash out but occasionally win some races. |

hey steve, not a lot goes on now m8, gp,s over till about october, some of us are still around though you just have to catch one of them days when people turn up.
i am sure if you sit yourself on one night about 7 ish people will notice its you and come on for a race.
as for close racing most of the big boys are doing the esl thing so praticing for that.
you might struggle now though with the likes of swat and sabre, and your old foe Bboy, havn't seen much of him since gp's finished
hopefully see you soon though steve |

Hi Steve, good to see you're back for a bit!
Not a lot going on at the moment as far as I know, but I've been taking a bit of a break since the end of GP Season 8 to do other stuff so I'm in no position to comment. I'll be back out on the track soon enough. _________________

I could barely keep up with Swat when I left ages ago... will have no chance now I think. And I don't think I could last a whole GP so lucky their not on for a while. I remember the first one I did when Virus invited me - it felt like I had broken my wrist after. (Trying to think when this was, and the time we both got banned for snapping at Wes because of the welsh thing... hehe, good times. Got no idea though... makes me feel old and I'm only 19. ) Has anyone seen Jordan/Virus recently?
Sabre? Must be a fast learner as I don't remember the name.
Has the game changed much? I know the GP format changed the season after I left and I tried to understand the new way but I have no idea how it works. Who/what is c@nt?
And hello to everyone. Not got much to do at the moment. Everyone is at Glastonbury, and I'm stuck at home sorting through 3000 photos, so I will probably venture on to the server tomorrow. |

Sorry for double post...
Hey Cheese. I seem to remember us doing exams at the same time, so did you get into University this year?
And if anyone is finishing A levels and wondering what to do, just go to Uni... I now know why loads of people say its the best time of their lives. |

I've not gone to Uni, no. I'm currently getting started in the IT industry and really enjoying it. Not going might be something I come to regret later on, it might not; there were various reasons, but it's easier to sum them up by saying it just wasn't/isn't something I want(ed) to do right now in life. Sounds like it's going well for you though, which is great to hear . I must admit, I was slightly jealous of my friends last year when reports from freshers week hit Facebook. _________________

I felt the same way in the final year of A level when your suppose to apply. I didn't really want to go, but my friend forced me to apply just in case I didn't find anything else to do, like it looks you have. This was about a month after the deadline for applying and I just choose computer science at some random universities. Put no research into where I was going... and now I'm at Bristol which is top 10 in Britain. I think I was quite lucky... What sort of stuff are you doing?
Lol... thanks for that Dant. You know how to make me feel like I'm at home.
Will be on the server in a little while so I want to see everyone there. Your jobs/work aren't important. |

Hang on a minute...
Just been looking through some old threads, and found the scoreboard for season 6 here.
I thought I left the job of maintaining Bboy's ego in capable hands - Swat, Moldo, Dant and everyone else. Your not suppose to let him win 8 consecutive races, it's bad for his health. |

Not my fault, I didn't participate and Swat disappeared during the season. Blame it on Dant _________________
