As the MTCC only has another 3 weeks to run and we're going to be trying to get the GP's done by Christmas we'd better start organising teams.

Please post your interest in taking part here and I shall update the list as we go. For those who want to be in either team SpankyTech Hustler Racing or SpankyTech Mad Dog 20/20 racing please PM myself, first refusal as always goes to the punters who raced with me before.

BTW the waster list for those who sign up but don't turn up has been updated so if you're a waster don't be surprised when you get a PM saying take a hike after you expressed interest in messing others about for another season.

GMR will once again make its presence felt on the grid with the green cars as always joined by...whatever other colour I choose this time. Again, first refusal goes to current drivers, let me know whether you want to stay put or not please.

Can I remind anyone considering signing up that if you take part, you're in it for the whole season, so try and race every week if at all possible. Also, the series rules are pretty relaxed when it comes to chassis choice but single seat open wheelers are preferred, particularly if all three have awesome matching colour schemes...

JawZ personally I think we have to lock the server while GP's are on, too often we get "numpties" coming in asking what is going, why are we doing 25 laps, why is nobody speaking to them then they start driving the wrong way round the circuit or leave their cars in the middle of a chicane which forces an admin to stop and kick them.

Which brings me to another point the admins, some of the admins (me included) will have to do more work on the GP's as the people who traditionally do it aren't involved so much anymore so we cannot expect them to turn up just to do the dirty work.

My suggestion would be to have an alternative series which runs weekly but is open to all along the lines of the 15 lap races we do but maybe shorter like 8 laps or something with 3-4 races per event. Each racer gains points for finishes and turning up every week obviously influences their position in the league table for the better. That might bring in more people without interfering too much with the GP series.
