2009 FORMULA FOREVER CHAMPIONSHIP SPORTING REGULATIONS
1. GENERAL REGULATIONS
1.1. Formula Forever Championship (Championship) - international online solo/team Championship for TrackMania United Forever players.
1.2. Organizers: Mad Laps UK, Qirex Research & Development with support by Buka Entertainment.
1.3. Season uncludes 7 stages, that will be held every saturday.
1.4. Regulations can be updated or changed at the discretion of the Organizers.
1.5. Official Championship site is champ.trackmania.ru (Site).
2. REGISTRATION
2.1. Read the Regulations before registration at "Rules" page on the Site.
2.2. You need to fill in the registration form at "Registration" page on the Site. You must enter: nick, e-mail, country, town, team (optional).
3. STAGE
3.1. Every Stage include 2 races in laps mode: Long race and Sprint race.
3.2. Long race length limit is 20 minutes.
3.3. Sprint race length limit is 10 minutes.
3.4. According to main race results a handicap will be added to final Sprint race results (1 point=1 second).
3.5. A Driver that did not start in the Long race can't start in the Sprint race.
3.6. Track of upcoming Stage will be submitted not later than 24 hours prior to the Stage.
3.7. Server password: ff.
4. MANAGEMENT
4.1. Administrators of the Championship or Stage Director perform all procedures on the server.
4.2. List of Administrators of the Championship:
- DaMadman
- Pepper
- Rayden
4.3. Stage Director is appointed by Administrators at each Stage.
5. TIMING
5.1. Long race
19.50 CET - Server start
20.00 CET - Race start
5.2. Sprint race
20.30 CET - Server start
20.35 CET - Race start
6. CHAMPIONSHIP
6.1. The title of Formula Forever Drivers Champion will be awarded to the driver who has scored the highest number of points, taking into consideration all the results of all Stages.
6.2. The title of Formula Forever Team Champion will be awarded to the team which has scored the highest number of points, results from 2 best cars at each Stage being taken into account.
6.3. Points for both titles in Main race will be awarded at each Stage according to the following scale:
1st : 35 points
2nd : 30 points
3rd : 26 points
4th : 23 points
5th : 21 point
6th : 19 points
7th : 17 points
8th : 15 points
9th : 13 points
10th : 11 points
11th : 10 points
12th : 9 points
13th : 8 points
14th : 7 points
15th : 6 points
16th : 5 points
17th : 4 points
18th : 3 points
19th : 2 points
20th : 1 point
6.4. Points for both titles in Sprint race will be awarded at each Stage according to the following scale:
1st : 17 points
2nd : 14 points
3rd : 12 points
4th : 10 points
5th : 8 points
6th : 6 points
7th : 4 points
8th : 3 point
9th : 2 points
10th : 1 point
6.5. If two or more teams or drivers finish the season with the same number of points, the higher place in the Championship (in either case) shall be awarded to:
a) the holder of the greatest number of first places,
b) if the number of first places is the same, the holder of the greatest number of second places,
c) if the number of second places is the same, the holder of the greatest number of third places and so on until a winner emerges.
d) if this procedure fails to produce a result, the Organizers will nominate the winner according to such criteria as it thinks fit.
7. SANCTIONS
7.1. 10 second penalty will be added to the final race time for unsportsman like conduct.
7.2. The following violations will result in disqualification from the current Stage:
a) repeated unsportsman like conduct
b) the beginning of any vote,
c) movement in the opposite direction,
d) cuts if they are not provided by the track author.
7.3. Disqualification from the entire season for repeated violations of a specified in paragraph 7.2.
7.4. Unsportsman like conduct is:
a) obscene speech, cursing,
b) disrespect to the organizers and participants of the competition.
7.5. Sanctions may be imposed to a driver, as well as the entire team.
7.6. Sanctions may be imposed to the driver on the server, both during, before and after the races, as well as actions on the official forum of the Championship.
7.7. Driver / team may make a protest to Administrators of the Championship in 24 hours after end of Stage.
7.8. The appeal will be reviewed during the week prior to the next stage of the Championship.

Hate to be picky, but how can unsportsman like conduct be made in tmn? what...ramming eachother off the road?

all enviroments? I'm definitely out then, keys don't turn smoothly on some enviroments.

Sounds pretty serious, but nevertheless if anyone wants a ML-GMR Formula Forever drive I'll get some skins sorted out.
Do you play much WipEout Rayden?
EDIT: First races are on the 28th? Blimey, not much turnaround. Would be tricky to get all the skins done in that time so it's a good job there's a list of what environment is each week.
