just watched Shooter (again) starring Mark Whalberg and Danny Glover, a very good action film about a sniper (Whalberg) being framed for attempting to kill the president. i recommend watching it, rated 15 though
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0822854/

Seraphim Falls with Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan, it's a western and one of the better ones i've seen lately. If you like westerns Open Range is brilliant.

i watched Slumdog Millionaire last night its about an indian slum kid who goes on the indian "who wants to be a millionaire" and does better than expected and is then accused of cheating. its really a love story but is funny in parts, the slum he lives in is quite rough to say the least
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1010048/

Bangkok Dangerous is also a good film about a hitman (Nicholas cage) reminded me a bit of Leon another good hitman film
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0814022/

7 pounds with Will Smith is quite good, probably one to watch with your woman (bit of a girlie film) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0814314/

i've seen Wanted and thought it was a top film and Step Brothers is one of the funniest films i've seen, the don't touch my drum kit rule Laughing

Burn after Reading is awful

Best Movies of all time:

Gladiator
Lord Of The Rings
Room1408

I like Nicolas Cage and that's why i think Next, Lord Of War and Gone In 60 Seconds are very good movies, too.

Good zombie movies are Resident Evil (although the 3rd part is a little exaggerated), 28Days Later(28 weeks later is good, too), Dawn Of the Dead....

I also watched 7 pounds and i thought it was somehow similar to The Pursuit Of Happiness. however, the atmosphere in 7 pounds is always so depressing - there is never a happy facial expression on will's face
the same with "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" which is as good as 7 pounds..

I think other good action-movies are "Inside-Man"(Clive Owen, Denzel Washington), "The Recruit"(Al Pacino, Collin Farell), "Training Day"(Denzel Washington, ...)

A movie i like a lot is "Prestige" with Christian Bale and someone else Very Happy.. ..it's about magic and stuff - very good!

The Departed

Leo D`Caprio, Matt Damon, Marky `Mark` Wahlberg, Jack Nicholson and a few other faces star in a remade japanese tale of corruption with a police force, an epic cast, sadly, the Japanese version has three parts and the remake was cramped into one,
