Had a coupla laps of tonight's circuits ... jeez, if I get round either cleanly I'll launch a server solely for school buses and mystery machines. I think in about 12 laps of flinger 8 I've made it through the start/finish line once without crunching into it and exiting the track in reverse ...

The new Flinger is great.

I get some "Final Corner Syndrome" on the other track though.

Race 1: Stuffed it into the tight turn after the jump was dead last on lap one. Made sod all progress til lap 17 then got pissed off and moved from 23rd to 17th in the last 4 laps.

Race 2: Was going fine, lapping consistent times was up to 7th by lap 18 then stuffed it on the loop and dropped to 12th managed to get back up to 10th with 2 laps to go.

Well played for 3rd place in the second race Bunsen we needed the points badly with JawZ not being able to race.

345pm-2am my browsing capabilities have been ristricted to a few websites and msn/xfire works fine....I cant even google or wikipedia...jus sits there saying transfering data for 3 hours....

Race 1: A bit uneventful, held the lead for a few laps until I got caught after a couple of mistakes (almost flipped it drifting past a donut on lap 7 or 8). Pretty happy with 2nd since I had a lot of problems staying consistent in practice laps.

Race 2: Very difficult track with 3 major crashes and a few minors. Crashed out of 1st place on 2nd lap after my wheel decided to jam inside the loop and threw me off, managed to haul myself back from 17th up to 2nd, then Stevie crashed near the loop (only watched replay in my POV so can't be sure exactly where) where I jumped into first. Managed to hold first to the end despite crashing on the loop doing the exact same thing on lap 18 or 19 as I did on lap 2 and bashing into the first CP on lap 22.

Race 1

Not the best of races, kept slamming into dohnuts here there and everywhere, was battling with reh for a good while untill pulled ahead. was 25 secs behind bboy/grndl with swat a few seconds ahead, he must have respawned as i got past and finished 3rd. noticed grndl using an alternative method for the first cp, driving straight through it then purposely respawning facing the opposite direction in front of the booster, if i'd have thought of that i might have stood more of a chance Rolling Eyes

Race 2

Started well, was leading for first 15 or so laps by 10 secs, but bugged off a loop and got stuck in one of the side panel things on the side of the loop, grndl got past and was 1-2 secs behind for a few laps. first corner went too far down inside, flipped and rolled through the first checkpoint on my roof, went to respawn but hit delete by accident ending my race.

think that DNF ended my championship hopes, so well played to grndl/swat whoever wins in the end. lets hope for some easier tracks next time Razz

1st race:
nice fight with stevie but lost him since he used his nitro/turbo/whatever, in the end crash challenge with swat, finished in front of him (dunno why °_o )

2nd race:
good start, stayed 2nd until the half of the race when grndl came from behind and flew away (wow!), stevie crashed, i stayed 2nd until bboy got invalid-timed, after that i had really terrible lag-time-distortion-probs so it was difficult to keep the car on track and i crashed a few times, but fortunately i stayed 2nd until the end

Race 1: Made a few mistakes at the start and was last by the 2nd corner dragged myself up to about 13th where I battled with DaCheese, DaMadman and Rustray. I think I spent laps 16 to 24 about half a second behind rustray - he barely made an error and neither did I, but then on 23 a slight bit of understeer by the turtle let me past, and I managed to hold him off to beat him by less than a second.

Race 2: My finest hour ever, and probably always will be. But it could have been a bit better. I got into a nice rhythm and slowly worked my way up - or more accurately the ones in front worked their way down. I knew this would be a track that rewarded consistency, so tried to stay fast but not too chancy. With 4 laps to go I was 4 seconds behind Reh and 6 sec behind potemkin, then I had my one and only off, and luckily no one overtook me, but I was now 18 seconds behind reh. Only at the end did I see that I was only 5 sec behind so he must have crashed ... that one slide cost me 2nd, but 3rd is fine.
