An eventful couple of GPs

Moles

Started badly, had a couple of wall grinds and dropped back a bit. Tussled with Yussuf and GRNDL for a bit but eventually got away and passed steve, only to flip and land facing the wrong way. Was now 5th or so, behind grendel and yussuf again but managed to pull away, noticed swat in front of me so must have respawned/crashed, managed to pass him and pull away. Steve was now a good 10 secs away but a couple of his crashes put me 2 secs behind in 2nd

Dans track

Not the cleanest of races, a couple of doughnut crashes put me behind grendal and bboy, i know bboy would fly off so i just focused on grendal. we traded places a few times due to the same mistake, crashing head on into the same doughnut, eventually losing him behind and was at least 22 secs behind bboy for finish in yet another second with swat a good 7-8 secs behind me

good races all, tough tracks look forward to next week

wasnt expecting much
had an itch on lap one ended up driving into a wall
ended up mid table

race 2
was stopped on lap 10

out of the 3 that had a whine only 1 I deemed to be worthy of a restart - jjg with the fps thing but thats usually computer related?

bboy whined bout invalid time which of late he seems to get, but happened on lap 1 this time.

stevieM then whined bout flipping.

then all of a sudden all the bbig guns demand a restart....

.....

race 3:
no problems at start
jus some pissed ppl
none of the big guns make any errors.
then they go whizzing off.
i had a few crashes and ended up 7th...miles behind 6th.

different tracks - different postionings

first Race

Another one to progress, I could keep up to the top til lap 10 when I made some mistakes hunting either Grndl and StevieM, but managed to keep bboy behind me . in the end Grndl lost some time to the top again so I've had the chance to get him since lap 22, went higher risk after I noticed but was too slow to catch up. Happy with my 5th anyways

second Race

Well, before I stopped to vote for a restart (which seemed quite right to me, an invalid time in the first lap is something which should be solved like we did IMO - but way faster)everything went pretty great - 5th after about 3 laps.
After the restart I was completely out of driving and didnt even manage to get the first corner , so I had to respawn.
Thought about the psychological aspect to see that one's 23rd all the time, though turned the chat off.....turned back on at lap 8, found out I'm 10th and crashed in confusion .
Than I managed to get up to seventh again in lap 14 but after passing pepper I lost my concentration again
Though two laps later - I found myself in 17th with about seventy seconds more gap to bboy
I nearly retired but the season point was worth too much, so I raced on and finished 14th or so, crushing the [GMR]-formation-finish


Great fun again , I hope we can all calm down like Minim showed after the last GPs

Admin report:
race two went to a late restart after Messiah started under an Invalid Time. Neither me nor the other lads on Vent noticed when he Chatted up . It came to my attention on Lap 6 when I had ridiculously risen to 4th and was looking around for a reason: plenty of racers had stopped already for the restart which I had assured would be given after Minim's misfortune in a previous race. Hard lines to those who had a good start, I must say. I noticed Matt broke connection, sorry m8, it was a tough call.

1. In 15th lap drop from 8 to 15 because that green thing on eddge flip me out on back. I just dont "feel" that track - no fun - no expectation - 15th place

2. This is 180° opposite from Moles, and that was it! fun fun fun
Feel like I play in Wipeout XD, not trackmania
0 major mistakes, 3 front crashes, couple bumps


...maybe we set some rules about that "restart when someone get invalid time"?

Race 1 :

8th position at the end after some position exchange with Rustray. He finally got the 7th place, good job mate.


Race 2 :

I was lucky to be 2nd behind Grndl, that was fun and quite enjoyable.
I didn't get screenies because i was surprised we run the 25 laps so quickly when the race ended, but i'm very happy about this result.

It seems there was a kind of race 3 ? probably not counting for the championship since it was on the same track as race 2.

PS: Yes, it's sad for unlucky drivers, but it's the only way for less skilled ones to get big points, it's when "elite" drivers have problems.

Race 1: Crashed was last managed to get up to somewhere in the middle order.

Race 2: Was 8th bunch of fellas started asking us to stop so I did, bunch of other fellas went whizzing past and I was 19th then decided to start again as the fellas who wanted a restart were threatening to never come back.

Race 3 (good idea JawZ) Went off completely on lap 2 was 2nd last. Fought way back up to about 5th from last, spent 15 laps trying to catch sosteve and did it with about 4 to go then managed to catch mark s with 1 to go.
