Consistancy's gonna be the key.
Having a crash couldn't ruin a race, but several ones can happen on these events. The fastest guys are the most exposed to the crash risk i think...
Good luck to all, see you on the road (or not far from it...). |

race 1
keep it smooth, most my lap times were coming up as 30 seconds.
few bumps, rolledin 8th iirc
race 2
rather long...was going smoothish then midway concentration lapse, then a surge then was up to 7th then bam glitch lading
next lap glitch landing sameplace then i managed to flip on akerb....put me 20 secs behind 7th in 2 laps
shocked to roll in 8th after so much annoyence in final laps, tho rust wasnt too far behind me after all that. _________________

Even if i made a few stupid mistakes, especially in the second one, i'm glad i did better than last week with 6th and 7th (for 6th and 8th on GP 1 & 2).
That's not a big step forward, but since i didn't expected to be in top10... i'm quite happy, yes. : )
That's also the case about Swat who won the two races, congratulations mate.
Also congrats to Mrs Longpole who managed to finish the race and keep her wheels one the road.
These tracks were really hard actually, and i hope something a little bit more quite for next week. ^^ (but not too much, i like it when other drivers crash a few time to let me pass them) |

Jesus wept you were in a titty bar again.
I'm not paying to send you to another sexaholics clinic. You can't be boner free and in the motor by next thursday JawZ gets to kick you in the knackers with his pointy shoes.
Me and JawZ can't keep thwarting GMR all season on our own (although we're doing a good job so far ) _________________

Oh for Christ's sake, things can't always go to plan you know. Especially after you stole two consecutive sets of plans for modifications to the FMS4 fleet.
On a slightly more serious note, something feels different this season and it doesn't seem to be as much fun. If only I knew what it is that's changed...anyone else feel the same way? _________________

Middinho, i took the liberty to edit your first post of this thread to post screenshots i took at the end of the races.
Here they are :
Since Steve left too soon in the second race, my tables are wrong from the 6th place (have to make +1 for each racer). If one of you has better one, don't hesitate to send them. |

I note this series everyone is just that much better than the previous three. 'Fun' might be lower down the ladder (imo not by much) but there's spades of extra excitement, pressure, despair, glee... a fair trade-off (even if Spanky didn't flake during Autokick when I was crawling all over his gearbox ) _________________

Itchy nose forced a retirement from race 1 and I survived the continued itch to complete race 2.... OUCH who made those evil tracks? |

They weren't massively evil Mad. Samosa was tight and twisty, I can never do tracks like that. Autokick was a really, really nice track buggered up by a tricky first corner and deadly drop after a high speed chicane. No offence meant, just my worthless opinion... _________________

I just reckon the first four tracks were a little bit trickier than last season so some of the racing has been closer than last time. As mid said some racers have improved from last time which is making for some fun closer racing. _________________
