Ah, and please, nex time give tracks with more SUN, really that tracks is been soo sad. And no more that lottery-turbo!

I agree, a very nice track Pep but the cyclic boost block doesn't help to keep the racing fair. I also had some horrendous lag due to it being a night track with plenty of lighting.

I though the cyclic boost would allow (with some luck) slower drivers to catch some distance from the fastest ones... but myself i get something like 20 100% for 4 150 and one 200 so... i agree too, no more cyclic boost, sorry guys Mr. Green

I'll not tallk about my two races with many details, i'm only happy that i am in top8 in both of them with a 6th and a 8th position at the end. Wink
That's a good start.

Race 1:
lap 5 - ...hitting the building (jumping to down-right-corner), retire from 3rd to 12th
lap 6-20 - minimmadness
lap ~20 - forgot to go in the middle start cp (headshot!)
lap 25 - unexpectly grndl is shown in front of me! milliseconds from him, but he still deserves more of this winn

Race 2:
200% - 4 times, 150% 6 times
lap ~10 - yay, I know how to do 200%! ....
lap ~13 - ...NOOOT!
lap ~15 - finally managed how to drift after that hill with lottety turbo on down
lap 20 - deppression from lack of sun and oponents %)

Race 1: Evil or Very Mad crashed lap 2, lap 5, lap 7 dropped to 22nd three times and managed to get back up as far as 17th each time so not an absolute disaster but not far off.

Race 2: Bit better, found the cyclic boost a bit of a pain but to be fair if I didn't hit the 200% on the last lap I wouldn't have jumped 2 places. Was good racing with Rustray and Middenrat swapping positions all through the race and catching sight of my team mate with 7 to go gave me a carrot to chase and just caught him at the very end.

Bring on next weeks races. Wink

On a seperate issue would people racing please remember if it wasn't for the efforts of a few people there would be no GP series so comments like "sux" "crap" and "rubbish" aren't welcome, aren't appreciated and will be met with swift bootage in the arse, keep all criticism constructive and polite.

Cheers

Race 1: started off well, ahead of the pack from the first lap, no mistakes for about half the race. about 14th lap or so, stevie about 5 seconds behind, i start making tiny mistakes, close to crashing out countless times. but just about kept it together at a steady pace till the end.

Race 2: started off ok, hit the corner after the dodgy boost first lap, but only slightly. the rest of the race i charged about desperately trying to catch the steves, but glances from the walls set me back every few laps. I charged at full speed for the last few laps but had no chance at about 4 seconds behind stevieM, gratz steves, gg

thx to mad and pep for great tracks.

wd to neeeveee on her first gp

pre race: tantrum time instead of practice, reflected in results Embarassed I hope you mostly appreciate the 'teams-only' aspect of this series cos it was me who spat my dummy out to make it so.
Race 1: off to a good start but soon catapulted myself off halfway through lap 3, gratifyingly that just started a chain reaction and I made up five or sixplaces sharpish. To my shame I 'last cornered' my [GMR] team skipper to take the position by less than a second (sorry DC) but neither of us could live with JonnyGreenGiant who showed well for us.
Race 2: laboured for the first half but the second half flew past as the vari-boost averaged out with a few good wallops and I got to terms with the next double right-hander. Agree Spanky, the racing was thrilling.

imo both tracks were out of the 1st drawer, even if neither were my fave techy types (DTM I hope you'll do some for the series).

Have to agree with JawZ a couple of times it didn't seem to boost me or it wasn't telling me what the boost was put it this way it didn't tell me and I sure as hell didn't dramatically speed up Laughing

Yeah that happens sometimes to me too, not showing what is the % of boost, but it boost anyway.
I think it doesn't show the % if you take it too much on the right or on the left.

EDIT

Waiting to know if Moldo is still about to write the stats for us, i've made an attempt in it. You can check it HERE

Why did i put the 8 firsts in red, the nexts 8 in blue and the others in green ? Only because TM score pages at the end of the races are divided in pages of 8 drivers...

If you would happily do it, i think it's the best solution since you're neutral in this competition.
Imagine if i make a mistake, people could think i wanted to avantage my team or i don't know...

Could the current seasons standings be stickied on a thread of its own? Just so people can find it easily as the season goes on.
