hey all! I'm DragonFury (i'm in the RFR clan)
I've raced in the Madlaps server every now and then, and i thought i'd drop by and say hello. i'm particularly interested in the GP's here, since i'm thinking of leaving RFR. i'll introduce myself for the ones that don't know me yet Smile

Name: Cedric
Age: 14 (yes, young, but who cares about age Wink )
Lives in: Holland/Noord-Brabant/Eindhoven
Characteristics: would wish to drop the upper Case, and usually forgets them. Fast every now and then.

hope to have a lot of fun here Smile
Gr, Dragon

welcome to the Forums, DF.
To everyone else: this guy is FAST, only needs the warm-up to master any track, keeps the Chat busy with his victory saga, I'm sure you're all going to enjoy congratulating him on his wins as much as I did last night Wink

Good man! (Hate that server Razz)

Welcome, after what mid said i'm looking forward to racing you (I go by the name of steviem on the server), hope to see you on there soon.

BTW, out of interest, how did you discover madlaps, was it just a random server you joined through boredom?

ha Ste, i hate the server too, since they changed up everything. it's like 40 people racing there all day, so that would explain the lag. and our boss keeps saying he has an extremely good pc and internet connection (may be true) and that he can't help it. and with a 100 tracks on a server, and no warm up, i always forget the tracks. enough reasons not to race in there any more.

i raced in the days that RFR sometimes had 0 people playing in it. but the other day i saw a guy named Steve in there. i wondered who he was (not of our team, we have a Steve too) so i went in the server. he seemed to be like better than me, so i asked him how much he raced here. i'd never seen him before. he answered me that it was his first time. this was un-be-lievable for me. nobody could be that good without knowing the tracks and such! so i asked him where he came from, and that's how i ended up in Mad Laps. i've always been in and out sometimes. sometimes racing for an eve, or cominng back for a week. now i've been taught in the art of drifting, and thought it'd be a nice idea to get some race pace with drifting (i've been racing in Dutch tech servers only in the past 3 months)

that explains i hope? Laughing

Yeh thats a good enough explanation lol

Steve....what are you doing on RFR lol? Theres a few steves on madlaps (there happens to be 3 in the same team for the GP's Razz).

I also used to go to RFR back when it was rounds mode and less people on (once one lap is done then you've learnt the course, which is why warmup mode on madlaps is so great the newer racers).

Anyway, the GP teams are only temporary while the GP season runs through, once the season is over then your team finishes too (untill the next season when you can be in a different team).

Have fun anyway, I started playing trackmania early this year and I havn't continuously played on any other server other than madlaps Smile

Welcome to Mad Laps DF, home of the Guild of TrackMania-Playing Steves (GTPS). RFR? That's a naughty word here. Laughing Tred was kicking around on ye olde Nations ML when his PC could handle it, Steve hasn't been spotted here for abut the same length of time. Drifting and inversions are some of the many highlights of the playlist...

EDIT: ...As I'm sure you've discovered. Age doesn't matter here either, I'm 17 but mentally either younger or older. Suggestions as to which I am are welcome.
