The King beat me earlier today. Just. I was in front and when I cross the line it says I came second, but our times were exactly the same. I decided to save the replay and find out the gap for myself. Here is what I found:
Rather tight, don't you think? _________________ rule #36: If it exists, then someone will have a fetish of it |

It was tight, even if you got exactly the same time King still pipped you over the line. Just a shame I messed the chicane up 2 laps in a row |

Very cool, the view like that
Had a check what replays I have from MadLaps, I got one close race with The King on UpsideDown (or something like that ) and one close race with Mad and Mid, but in the first replay we're just not in a close finish, and in the second replay, we're about to make a close finish, but like 20 meters before the line, Mad just stops, the replay chokes him _________________

I'm not sure how accurate the replay representations are when it come to close finishes. The server can be set to create replays and I guess that these may differ from yours due to the network pings etc. Just a hunch but I'll have to check it out sometime. |

Saved quite a few replays off the server, of various pretty fun races, and all the ghosts appear to have very little lag whatsoever, and with no cars jumping about everywhere either. _________________ rule #36: If it exists, then someone will have a fetish of it |

How do you go about saving replays of online races anyway? |

Well, personally I have throttle on X. And brake on Square. And analogue stick to move.
But D, or S for brake? Even if I used a keyboard I wouldn't think of using that kind of setup. Too many keys surrounding them to make a mistake. _________________ rule #36: If it exists, then someone will have a fetish of it |

Ring finger on TAB to check the times, middle finger on S for braking, index finger on C to see what people are saying can't miss _________________

D-pad you have to constantly tap a direction if the corner is too wide for the turn radius when the button is pressed. With the analogue stick you just have to move it to your desired position, so much easier and less RSI-inducing _________________ rule #36: If it exists, then someone will have a fetish of it |

Everyone's doing it wrong. But Moldo can have some points for being the closest
Directional buttons for steering - right hand
D for braking/sliding - left index finger
Tab for scores - left ring finger
C for reading - left index finger when your on a straight so no need to slide |

I could move read stuff to W from C... then middle finger would have something to do |
