Stumbled into the server "av-Hexa Cup" just now, said hi and then callvoted a restart (which i'll usually do at this time in the morning 2.19am when theres only me and 2 others in the server)
then one of them callvoted a ban on me (c#nts!) so now i'm banned! 
one of them was called 06 T (then an orange vertical line) DUST. His rank = 114909
to be honest i'm not bothered i've never been on before but it would be a prime location for a server raid i think  it was on "team" on the filter thing
has this happened to anyone before or is it just me  |

well i rarely callvotes unless im alone or with someone i know.
ppl who callvotes are epic annoy. *looks at thug*

| Well maybe the guy that callvoted you was a team member, as it was a team server after all. Watch out for a few of the team servers as they have rules.. |

Tend to agree with Jawz here, there isn't much need for it imo.
Certainly when people do it on mad laps three times a race I ask them politely to cut it out.

haha can't add anything. Call voting sucks and you deserve it 
Why ruin a race for everyone else just cus you missed the start. even if there is just 2 on the server. Even if there is 1 on the sevrer it can be annoying... especially if they are on a record beating run. |

they did it to be arsey, they weren't racing they were typing to each other.
i suppose your right about callvoting being annoying if its done a lot but for doing it once, then no warning and banned from a server for it seems a bit extreme. |

| is call voting disabled on the server? as we raced on an steves AWFUL abstract track last night, i callvoted it to skip it and it passed without anyone else getting the chance to vote. |

Abstract isn't that awful, it's classic
And callvoting is a lot more common on the timeattack servers.. you should go to the minitech servers in NED... every track gets a callvote, and even when it fails some admin does /admin res.. annoying as hell

usually if I'm alone in a server I'll callvote to restart just to practice a track I'm no good at which would be most

that was really unfair guys
i was 10+ secs ahead and some randomer callvoted a restart because he crashed, people voted for a restart and the timer ended about 3 secs from the finish.
i was on a top run and the worst thing is is that dan said 'vote to restart cos ste is winning', and then when it restarted you all laughed.
not fair guys, really.
don't care if it was a 'joke' either, you wouldnt like it if you were on a good run and the game restarted because people didn't want you to win |

Word of advice from one who has seen and done many japes on a server, don't let people know it got to you or there all the more likely to do it again.
I've told Dan off.

I have to agree with Ste... I was racing it the other day, and I cant stand it now.  But people seem to like it... so its still going.
Also, as were talking about old tracks... Tim, can you send me the latest version of Hyssop that you have. Then i wont have to make a new intro as I dont think I put it on the earlier versions. Thanks. |
