hi all
as alot of you may know i'm getting a new system soon. i've got the money for one, but i'm just a bit worried about spending such a large amount of money over the interweb. the systems from novatech, so im sure that a few people here have bought stuff from there before. the most money i've ever spent online is £175 on a subwoofer for my home stereo, from a site i've never visited before, and that went through no problems. i also spent £80 on ebay for some speakers, and ebays probably the most untrustworthy site out there.
my mum doesnt think i should do it as she doesnt trust the net (neither does dan), but its the only way i can get this system unless i drive down to reading/bristol/portsmouth to one of the stores (being in leeds, thats a long way).
thoughts? i think it should be safe as ive read the security pages on the site, but i just need to make sure. |

you've a greater risk of being diddled buying fuel at a filling station.
Commercial interests have encryption and secure internet links which are constantly monitored for your safety, this they pay top dollar for (ask DaMadman). Look for the lil padlock symbol at the bottom of the browser at the checkout for confirmation. Outrageously, MadLaps will get NOWT if you show up in person waving cash for goods and services and the drug addict on the sales counter will think 'this'll do nicely' as he clones your credit card.
I've spent thousands online with ne'er a regret _________________

They have online fraud protection so in the slim chance something goes wrong your money is covered by Barclays bank. _________________

see when you go in a shop and they swipe you card, what do you think happens then??????????? ?? ?
it's called the internet. Every transaction you make with your card uses it and your computer is just as safe as anybody else's... well maybe not yours but your grandmas should be ok
And yes, novatech are a big and well known business that arn't going to rip you off. I wouldn't dismiss dans offer of help either as he obviously knows the local shop and available parts well. |

I work for an online cycle retailer and as long as its reputable company your buying from which novatech are then it's more secure to buy online as they will have a secure server for handling card details, then they have extra steps which shops don't have when actually taking the money and will also have systems in place for either the secure storage or destruction of your card details. So it's much easier if you want someone's card details to set up a dodgy shop than try and intercept them when there being used on a website. _________________ Mostly to be found in Forza Horizon 4 now.

What`s the Number on the front, and the security code, also the expiry date would help, I`ll check if your details are safe for you to use..

Well, I've been buying some stuff over the internet, mostly games, but I've also looked on the internet to see if theings are as I expected them to be.
So, you can use the internet to look after prices and so on things you think that you need to get, you don't have to shop by the internet, if you don't think it feels safe. _________________ Nedo The Sky Dragon in TM |

My mates looking for a new bike, and he had a Yeti 575 on demo a little while ago. He really liked it, and is quite tempted into getting one... so how much would a 575, or maybe a ASR 7 be? |
