When I first started playing trackmania, madlaps was the first server I went on cos my good friend evil homer recommended it.
Now I play a couple of others servers as well, as different servers have different driving styles and I’m trying to improve my skills.
But madlaps will always be my favourite because on there I feel like ive got to know some of you guys and gals and you’ve all made me feel welcome |

Word of mouth is a great way of putting ourselves about, tell your other mates
I must agree this is the friendliest bunch of gamers you're likely to find. _________________

Definitely is. I'll never lose the clan thing as long as I play but this community is great, clanless or not _________________

I got stuck into TMN playing on UKFC's time attack server as that was where JGG played. It really wasn't my thing, so I tried ML and found my PC couldn't cope. I upgraded my PC on the cheap, bought TMU, made a few tracks on it, submitted them to Mad, moved back over to the real competition on Nations and the rest is history. _________________

I was wandering through the wastelands of Need for Speed Carbon servers when a friend from =Vu= told me to go download Trackmania Nations. It is free he told me, so being Scottish and careful with the pennies I made sure my fair usage limit would not be breached by the download incurring a possible £1 charge, once I knew I was ok I downloaded it.
What a year it has been I've more or less completely been playing TM ever since and amazingly enough haven't improved one bit no matter how much booze, red bull or crack cocaine I take.
BTW SpankyTech is recruiting for the coming GP season, PM me if interested in tomfoolery and hijinks but very little chance of winning anything _________________
