Has anyone tried building those hilly curvy pieces on dirt? The ones where you have to raise the level of the earth. I can just about get my head round the flat ones (the black clips and the simple straight red hilly clips) but for the life of me I can't seem to get a curvy raised red clip one in. I get the message "This block cannot be placed on this terrain" or "you can only place this block on a straight frontier" ... It's driving me nuts.

I have tried to use the mud parts with the black clips, but whether i put it on grass or mud it says "this block cannot be placed on this terrain". Where does it allow me to put it??

They have to be on a dirt hillside, make some dirt land, then a dirt hill in it, and place it against the side of the hill.

think the dirt hill has to be 3x3 in dimensions (so it has a single block top surface) at least.

If you look at the blocks, it show `the lie of the land ` underneath

Also red curvy one goes along the bank not up it

I eventually worked out where they go. I'll possibly try and get some pictures but I seem to recall you put them on the edge of a raised bit. Right on the edge.

You have to get the shape of the dirt right for the piece to sit on.... the dirst also has to be wide enough for the clip of the piece in teh right spot. Its tricky, but keep playing and you'll get the idea. It's the same in other environments....pain in the butt.

there you go, proof that I did indeed place it at least once Smile

It's a shed load of track in a single piece and it sucks.... like the cars that drive on it.
