A couple minutes ago while race BY MYSELF on madlaps, I posted a time of 1'59"00 on "The Bourne Kamikaze" Though I should have tied Bboy for the 4th record, it said "no winner" and did not give me a record?

I saved a replay of my record to this link: http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/2/14/1759115/The%20Bourne%20Kamikaze%2001_59_00.Replay.Gbx

As far as I can tell, it means nothing at all.

if you press enter when in your own, the times you do dont get put onto the records

not sure if this is case when theres more than 1 on server,if so its to probably discourage restarters.

Yep, you can't go for records in an empty server just restarting all the time Wink

Yeah I've done it a couple of times too Embarassed Razz

It seems random because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

Weird

Sometimes you need to get 'into' official mode. By that I mean the game seems to treat my times differently if I enter an empty madlaps and run 7 or 8 tracks, as opposed to racing with another couple of drivers who then get bored/ tired and leave. In the latter example it seems to treat things as 'official' when I continue to race solo. Also as previously deduced, restarting when alone on the track kills your records chances, but not in a 'competitive' race.
