still count yourself as a mod

seeing as for this we need very very little as alot of the work can be done very quicky and the more the merrier

on tournaments basic one's would be :

single/dual knockout
League (round-robin or Swiss)
1/2 League(s) => Final

I'll think a bit longer followed by a poll in a couple of days for a week or so then start sometime in Feb?

we established that its gonna be a league - play each other twice.

matches wil be best of 3.

points should be total of frames won, that way if u get 1 frame out of the 3 you get 1 point. .

i think a mixture of tournaments would be nice

anyway

i'll still put a vote up as it might be nice to have a quicker tournament first off just to make sure we can get everything to work right and should be much easier

The dea of two leagues is good but need 1 league at first to seperate the players, and also depends on numbers. Cup tournament could be quite cool as well. So not one comp but two. How about in the league play each other twice and as Jawz says just add up the points away and for as in football

e.g.

JawZ 56-21 Dutchy
JawZ 85-11 Dutchy

JawZ wins 2-0 and has 141For 32Against therefore pts would be 109 (141-32)
Dutchy has 32For and 141 against therefore has -109pts

This way it wouldnt come down to the number of wins but by how convincing the victories are. Does anyone follow my train of thought?

Is this snooker, or rotation as you dont get a dcore like that in pool.

i thought it was a 8 ball. as we got some people here who are intrested and dont understand snooker, plus snooker frames seem to take a while - 20 mins seems to be a common duration for a snooker frame between me n dutchy

so it will have to be frame wins.
