OK, a couple of pages are missing from the website
USEFUL LINKS......
I'm looking for links to TM pages, carpark etc you all know the sites cus unlike me you visit them. post the links and I'll create a links page. Also links to clan sites etc are welcome because after all we not in competition with them. We know we are the best
SERVICES......
Within our little community we have some skilled and useful workers who could benefit from the community and help those in need. If you have a service / product / skill to offer then email me and we can put a services page together to advertise your trades. Off the top of my head racermark with his remote computer repair services is is a good example. He'll remove viruses and tweek your groaning boxes performance in the evening for you for a reasonable fee. Unlike BT he doesn't advertise the service with insane videos that are totally laughable... It is his full time profession, he's good at his job and I say in the evening cus he's based in the US... 9.00am GMT callouts aint gonna happen unless you want to pay him some serious wonga.
FRONT PAGE VIDEO.....
We've all seen the united one... I want a mad laps one. You will notice on the home page that the quick video is lacking music and style. I will create a new one from the GP replays when I get time but maybe someone here has the magic touch? I have about 8 GP replays saved for cribbing bits from. scenes from the first lap or two are best because the field is at it's closest. Saving a whole race is outrageously big in MB and I'm looking for a video that is under 3MB...
ANY OTHER THOUGHTS.....
etc let me know the cookery pages were a flop. |

The cookery threads were awesome while they lasted. Good to hear about everyone culinary disasters.
Links to tmx, and the tm forums would be useful. I dont visit them very often, but it saves having to find it on google.
Idea, not sure if its been mentioned on this forum, but quite a few sites i've visited, have a browser game thing. There is a couple of hundred quick and easy games, were you get highscores etc..
Off topic: If you check the replay, and set the target to my car. First lap of the second GP, watch the second jump at the end. It wasnt my fault, and i say i should get 8 points for being the unlucky victim of a cruel twist of TMN. (8 points is 8th, which i think even i could have managed, and also puts me above medi ) |

I think there's a danger that soon a track will be made where all of the intro text and the name of the track will be spelt correctly, and will lack the obligatory spelling mistake that gives Mad tracks their unique feel. Luckily, I am a copy editor, and I can check all your spelling and if it is looking just too perfect, I can, like the makers of Persian rugs, introduce an error. |
