Thought I'd start this one now as I've already retired from the second race
Race 1: Keeping a steady 8th/9th until I stuffed it at the last chicane on lap 12. Then ended up behind Squeeze and Dan and managed to catch them both on lap 23. Got passed them but a rushed last half lap and I they had me.
Race 2: Track must have suited me more than others as I was belting along in 5th with nobody but elites ahead. Then on lap 8ish I did what I though I was going to do and clipped the wall coming out of the right hander before the jump onto the box (bit of plagiarism here mark ). The front wheels made it onto the block but the rears didnt and I plunged to the grass below upside down and fortunately bounced upright. I then realised that I couldnt see any sign of a recovery route so had to go on a little journey aroudn the floor to find one. Eventually when I did, I skidded on the grass and hit the side of the track which put me on my side and just about managed to do a full roll and get it back onto all fours. Got back on the track and just as I went past the sight of my undoing, my laptop decided to freeze on me! What a disaster...maybe this was foretold in the name of the track...Destiny...it clearly wasnt meant to be... |

total disasterous race night for me
1st race my connection went t*ts up and only got connected 40 secs into the race which put me about 28th, managed to crawl very slowly up the ranks but still was only something like 21st by the end, i was so digusted i didn't even bother to see where i was
2nd race went far better for me but then i started clipping corners and making silly mistakes ended up something like 15th, once again by the end of the race i was so gutted that i never pad any attention to where i was at and this track suited my driving style far more than the first race,
But as they say, "Better luck next time"!!! |

1st race : sitting in the middle most of time following matt.
2nd race: was up in 6th for the most part, then i clipped the edge of a wall before the jump the requires speed, i decided in the split moment to bottle the jump and turn around this was 4 laps from the end. i dropped down to around 12th iirc, finished 10th?
could of been worse _________________

1st Race: Had an absolute rotter sat in 15th for almost the whole race and managed to catch thug with one lap to go to get 14th.
2nd Race: Went a little better was sitting about 14th for the first 5 or so laps then started to get a feel for the track more and picked up a few places until Mid was in my sights, managed to catch Mid, managed to stuff it into the donut before the drop and Dan caught me, still came home a respectable 7th. JawZ very wise to bottle the jump and go back you would have probably had a DNF otherwise. _________________

Race 1: Found a rhythm at about lap 5, went into a trance, then lost it about lap 22 and slipped a few places
Race 2: Was a great race, tight racing from the start, was chasing Cheese down until he started going on about 32-c`s, then he headbutted a sign, kept catching spanky and mid until the hairpin which i failed to slide every lap, then mid planted it and i finally slid the hairpin to take spanky on lap 23. Great track!! _________________ Never underestimate the power of stupidity. |

Pretty boring races for me, 1st track suited me better so was a bit closer to the front.
Wish I could see how close people were behind me during races, I figured I had to keep going fast in the 2nd race just in case and it turned out I was around 20 secs clear of 4th place _________________ It's not the winning, its the taking apart |

1st race - did decent but not to my usual standards (first gp coming off a 9 hour shift in my new job so i was probably knackered lol) and got 6th i think... lost concentration final few laps when King caught me up and overtook me
2nd race - disaster! TM crashed on me when restarting so I rejoined 40 sec behind everyone, was just catching the stragglers up when I crashed and flipped over on lap 4 or 5 lol _________________ TOO WEIRD TO LIVE, TOO RARE TO DIE |

connection was terrible for me, bad lag went and did a bandwidth check 262-391, this morning back up to 8800.
first race same as dan, sort of track you slip into a trance on, cant remember where i finished was well down though.
second race tough track with no respawns sorry
went from about 8th to 18th quickly one accident clawed me way back up the field, thanks to all the retirements these really help, got into about 11th or 12th didnt see anybody caught up with bonobo then he disappeared, then the mistakes crept in on the last few laps i think even jawz passed me
dont know how many drinks you had dan but we only did 20 laps on the second track yet on lap 23 |
