Ah yes ! that was a tradition and a curse to me on Servalot during races, Galt was the fastest / wittiest typist, until I started turning chat off while racing , can't resist trying to read while racing though , and a lot of the time your ( Spanky ) commentaries were a damn site more entertaining than my driving anyway
I'd be in favour of the Nations format , it would be neat if you could allow 2 respawns for less consistent drivers, 1 respawn for Midfield ( no pun intended ), and no respawns for the Elites. Just a thought _________________

It's ok SoSteve after last nights debate on vent and the proposals put forward by Mid and Mad the following will be implemented instead of respawning.
1.) There will be a euro lottery administered by Potman (if conscious), where each country racing in the active GP will be put into a velvet bag and once Potman has fondled the balls sufficiently to mix them up a country will be drawn. So whoever is from say Scotland or Wales or Finland etc etc at that point gets kicked. That will jazz up the results no end.
2.) Handicaps will be increased for anyone who's name changes more than once in a week, StevieM, Angel, BBoy take note. For every name change you get another 3 handiloops.
3.) Belial at any point during the race can shout "shooter" and everyone has to neck a shot, if anyone refuses its a 10 handiloop penalty.
4.) Mad reserves the right at any point to tell everyone to stop and let him win.
5.) DanTheMan secured the exclusive advertising rights for Mad Laps season 6 and each team will have to place a sticker of him in a mankini on their cars or face a 10 handiloop penalty.
6.) SpankyTech has requested that compulsory pit stops are now implemented UNLESS you're from Scotland, rich and a bit of a rotter.
If you've read this far and not realised I'm taking the proverbial then lord help you and remember "breathe in"......."breathe out" _________________

I'll scrape the grease off the burger van then. Not for hygiene, for cooking in. Also I've been picking up gourmet tips from telly, so next season's Salade de Grasse will include a drizzle of Castrol 'R' and wheel nuts. Yummy _________________

Lmao, That rule would make for some entertaining racing you could start charging people to watch though there may be problem with number of underagers taking part. _________________ Mostly to be found in Forza Horizon 4 now.

Hmm, no respawns. Yeah, it was pretty good fun on the odd occasion when I didn't fly off on one of the first five laps, although I'm the first to admit that my driving was horrendous back then. The fastest guys are not the ones respawning most of course, it's the guys further down the field. Therefore I'd still prefer to keep respawns. Or would I? I didn't enjoy the first part of season 4 much which was my first non-privateer TMF season because something had changed, and it may have been respawns. Changes to track design will be needed though, and partially changing the subject, it should be remembered that eliminating respawns won't stop the elite contingent taking tricky cuts because I thought the general concensus was that they shouldn't be doing so anyway.
In chat during pretty much every practise session this season (so far) at least one of the elites wrote: | Is the cut allowed? |
What do you think? Of course it sodding isn't. You could easily win without cutting, so stop looking for them.
I realise this sounds just a teensy bit bitter. I apologise because it's not aimed at anyone in particular, but some things just wind me up. _________________

Season 3 was the first in TMNF, but I agree with you there
Respawn also isn't allowed in those tech tournaments like ESL, TNA, ... _________________

Could try it in one race this season to mix things up and see how it goes...a bit like the night race in F1.
Although I think the elites will profit more from it as they make less mistakes |

I didn't race the first part of season 3 due to PC issues with TMF. GMR was set to race that season with the same lineup as season 4 but had to pull out before it started. Eventually I entered a few races as a privateer. _________________

Maybe just a 'tester' GP on a random saturday in place of the solo cup? |
