just been reading about Trackmania on Wikipedia
"Easter Eggs
Many believed that the orbital camera view was taken out of the TrackMania Nations Forever game. This is not the case. An easter egg found by player UrbanTwitch made the camera go to orbital view. To get to the oribital view you will need to press the £ key in your keyboard. You will then switch to orbital view."
do they mean the view when you press 7?

Did the post refer to the 'pound' key or did they literally refer to the '£' key?
If its the former, our US friends call the '#' key the 'pound' key.... |

i just copied and pasted from wiki
when you press 7 it goes to spectator camera, you look round by pressing the right mouse button and zoom in with 8
