| I'm the same. I lose interest once the real talent gets through. Some people think I am cruel for pointing and laughing at these talentless wastes of oxygen, but isn't the fact that they think they are talented enough to condemn them? They totally lack humility and the shock on their rejected faces just reinforces that. Then again I've grown up oozing with self-doubt and passivity, so maybe I'm just jealous of them ... |

I can't watch any of it, it's like Theatre of Embarrassment and the judging panel would have been taken out and shot in 1968. Then the 'real talent' turns out to be from the same mould as all the other copyists and deadheads that populate the froth on our culture. Gah!
rant over, I can't remembner why I Quoted Bunsen, but something about the last sentence is causing me to giggle

I agree, of course ... I can't imagine actually listening to the types of music that this show aims to promote. It's the worst type of soul-less crud the music industry has to offer. Without the "personalities", the "drama", the "tears" and the "personal journeys" that are beamed into people's living rooms, no one would bother to download the songs. Which makes people's desperation all the more amusing. |

I despise the end result of a series of this program, another useless muppet spewing out an excuse for music, but the early stages (when I can be bothered to watch them) are hilarious to behold.
