yeah i was devastated when i heard this... 6AM it was announced... 
i had shivers down my back i felt cold, a World Champion & his passion was rally'ing, a great man, a role model and an inspiration to kids.|
he will be dearly Missed

His son, 5 years, was also killed in the heli, alongside his friend, 6 years, and a family friend.

| When I watch rally car car racing, I always think they are crazy for doing it. But they are not crazy, they are exceptional. They are some of the few people on earth that have reached the top. I'd like to think that Colin McRae didn't make it to the top just by being crazier than the rest. I'd like to think he did it by following his dream. He loved rallying the same way I love karting, and the same way the rest of the world loves football. Those guys made it to where they are now by trying harder than the rest, by digging deep when the rest was giving up. Colin McRae followed his dream, and never gave up. If only the world had more people like Colin McRae. Colin McRae, I hope you can hear me when I say this. On behalf of everyone who wants to be great at something, Colin McRae, we will never forget you. R.I.P. |
