Yeh..was fun while it lasted. Obviously i was a bit miffed after winning 2/3 races but still not getting through, but as it was a team thing i guess it depended on where team mates came too.

i could of done with the warm up being there my 1st race Razz

few mins before the start of the event someone asked spanky if specing was allowed - i quickly mentioned that wouldnt exactly be fair so i guess no, spanky seemed to agree...

so when did ppl start speccing Razz

well, as I came in I was told to get in spec and due to the boredom of only seeing the stadium from above I specced Bboy (which was way more exciting). No one told me not to do so and when I realized that the tracks they drove were the same tracks as I drove I was already in my match...

IMO blindracing is cool, but like this it doesnt really work and you can't control it , so... Confused

i think it wouldn't be that much of a problem if you give each match a different password that only players and admins will know (sent on PM day or two before event). And change server pass after every match.

There will be some more work for admins, but right now i cant remember a better solution.

Or.... make different tracks for each match, so specing wont be a problem (1 new track & 2 from a random selection of existing tracks) Laughing

Mad seemed to like the concept and suggested we do a league. I reckon that might take a bit of time up and needs a lot of organising. A league can be run in a round robin format so every team plays each other at least once rather than having every team play more than once.

The teams would need to be drawn again I would say as if we let people have their own teams they will be unbalanced and make it less of a contest.

Apologies all, especially my teammates. Someone decided on Thursday they'd do some work at the local exchange and as such I've not been able to get online until today. I think my parents were saying something about going to some kind of educational establishment on Thursday and it's probably a good idea if I go, but I'll question them again and see if we'll be back before 8:30.

For thursday we're going to need someone to replace HotSwat in his team and someone to replace Middenrat in my team. To keep it fair we need players of a similar level to Swat and Mid to replace each of them. I proposed Bonobo to replace Mid and StevieM if available and willing to replace Swat.

Any objections?.
