Yeah sorry, we've been meaning to put a warning up on the server messages about that Basically, you'll need a stadium car or an f1 skin to be guarenteed visibility in our new view |

RFR have camera views on their tracks to give you a cockpit view for racing. 'our' referring to RFR. |

lol, yeah sorry - I'm the one who's been putting the pitstops and camera view into the RFR tracks, which is why I refer to it as "mine" or "ours" It's also why I haven't been so active on the trackbuilding here |

The pitstops are great, and the view is, but only when you got the normal shaped cars.... Also the pitstops are a good way to steal a few seconds - before you go in, line yourself up with the way out, and keep holding forward when its black instead of stopping. |

Yeah steve, we're working on a way to stop people from doing that - I'm sure you've noticed the chicanes at the end of the pitlane to catch out those people who don't stop... |

Im not suppose to do that??? ooopppsss, sorry.
I suppose if real F1 cars didnt stop, and people tried to refuel them, it would be ugly
You should put the holes in the pitstop, because you can get out of them by reversing, because the back tyres are bigger, and it would catch anyone who couldnt see where they were going...but they would have to know that they could reverse out, or it would end their race. |

I don't get the RFR rules. If a game engine allows certain driving styles then why ban them? Surely it's a different game that's needed
( though I wouldn't choose to be deprived of the great buddies and competitors that clan provides our game ).
F'rinstance: powersliding. This was the best part of GP racing (preF1) in the days of Moss, Hill, Surtees and Clarke,
before some twerp put a teatray over the rear wheels and called it downforce.
Fun and skillish and completely unknown in this age of driver aids.
To outlaw that style in a game is like Talibanesque baby
And who could object to the bash turn so painstakingly pioneered by Johnny Herbert? _________________

It's a forced view on the RFR Server (for some tracks).
It's a simple work in the mediatracker, when you build a track.
When you get that on a track, you can't change the view to camera 1, 2 or 3. (but pressing 3 can help anyway, since it make disapear the car, the view is cleaned and you have less chances to crash) |
