I haven't seen DaMadman announce the new Controller, but anyone playing our Servers this month can't have missed the ... variable experience Wink

. All for the good, it seems, as the new Controller has been rolled out for debugging these past two nights, with great results so far.
The long hours of coding and testing are proof, if it were needed, of Mad's crazy devotion to this game and community of ours and I vote a big Thankyou to himself Very Happy

hmm..that`s strange..I`m 100% sure I posted a thank you in this thred earlier and also a Hi heel in the bosch thred..now they are both gone Confused

I reckon the Fastest Lap function is dicky: it just records the fastest lap of every race.

no, you were bang on. I missed a lousy comma when i added the karma records. Fixed it last night though i hope. seemed to work anyhow. hard to tell as most of them are genuine fastest laps....

since last weekend we've had visits from over 1000 different players and set over 5000 records..... just to make your jaws drop.

Am working on info pages to add to here..... hopefully soon as the new controller develops.

Router probs again yesterday.... swapped it out again. the linksys was running very hot and had failed each night this week. the netgear has received new firmware and a full reset lets see if it can take the strain again.

if ur in sixth or seventh, doesn`t mean u can`t get a sector, means ur faster through that `sector`, thus u get a record!

Yeh I know that (unless you're talking to da dude). I just noticed that everytime i race the same track (say..interlagos) people lower down the order are getting sector records when people like Steve etc have set uber fast times already and claimed the sec recs, thought it was a bit weird for those times to be beat (unless they snort NOS (or Steve is incredibly slow (and we're slower (or noobs are haxxoring it))))

as I understand it a comma was missing in script, now revised - but all the Sectors and LRs went up in flames.
