found out what it was, deleted one of the texture files and it's fine..
what it's supposed to look like:
Cant take credit for the model though I'm just doing a rather amateurish attempt at converting it |

Just a suggestion: I think someone said something about a mod ages ago, the black track looks quite good.

I saw a guy today racing and in front of him on the road was a smiley face and behind him was a sad face. When he went near to edges they painted themselves on things like shadows. It was weird and hypnotic.
As for track mods, there are some excellent ones out there but I haven't a clue how to use them. There's a fine Coast mod that has the road with sandy edges, and I've seen a Scalextric mod which was kinda fun. The only drawback is that it isn't always clear what kind of surface you're driving on and the level of grip is therefore less predictable. But they look good. |
